Experience ‘A Light Spectacular’ at Malahide Castle & Gardens

Returning for its 4th year, ‘A Light Spectacular’ brings over one million dazzling lights to the historic grounds of Malahide Castle! This year’s theme will light up the night with two breathtaking new tunnels: the towering Cathedral Tunnel, 5 meters high and 30 meters long, and the expansive Portal of Light Tunnel, measuring 5 meters tall and 10 meters wide, extending 20 meters in length.

Guests will also enjoy mesmerizing projection mapping on the castle itself, where a captivating storyline unfolds. Plus, the beloved Talking Tree returns to charm visitors of all ages with its playful tales along the journey.

Now open through January 4th, 2025, this enchanting display is not to be missed.

How can I get to Malahide Castle from Shoreline Hotel? 

You can get the train from Donabate Train Station, it is a 4 minute journey. You could also get a taxi which would cost approx €12.

Can I park at Shoreline Hotel? 

Yes, we have free parking at Shoreline Hotel for our customers. Attend reception to find out more.

Can I eat or drink in Shoreline Brasserie before the Wonderlights?

Yes, our Brasserie is open daily and serving food until 8pm midweek and 8.30pm at weekends.
